For casual French fare in an elegant, comfortable setting, Le Bar Lyonnais (inside the renowned Le Bec-Fin restaurant) is an excellent choice. The menus at both places are similar, but everything in the bar is à la carte. Choices range from steak tartare and caviar with blinis to grilled Dover sole with herbed gnocchi. The bar is also an ideal pre- or post-theater destination, especially considering that legendary Le Bec-Fin desserts are available! All are sublime, of course, but chocolate lovers particularly adore the L'Opera cake and Gâteau St. Nizier. Desserts are also available to take home.
